The leadership lens underpinning Integria’s work
The Integria Leadership Insight Lens is the leadership methodology that underpins Integria’s work with organisations seeking to strengthen safeguarding culture.
The lens helps leadership teams see how safeguarding expectations are actually experienced in everyday organisational practice, not just how policies and procedures are designed to operate.
Grounded in safeguarding inquiry findings and organisational culture research, the lens examines leadership behaviour, organisational culture, and lived safeguarding experience across teams and services. This helps leaders build clearer visibility of cultural signals, strengths, inconsistencies and emerging risks that may otherwise remain difficult to see from within the system.
The Leadership Insight Lens is applied directly through Integria’s See Clearly insight process and informs Integria’s broader leadership work across Start Well, See Clearly, and Make It Stick, supporting organisations to strengthen safeguarding culture from leadership awareness through to sustained practice.

Leadership readiness for child-safe culture
Start Well supports leadership teams to understand how child-safe culture is actually experienced in practice, beyond policy confidence or structural compliance alone, helping leaders strengthen visibility of how safeguarding expectations are holding in everyday practice and where assumed safety may differ from lived safety.
In many competent organisations, there can be a gap between documented safeguards and how safety is lived day to day.
